ABOUT ME
Miracle Mary Pelayo is an actor based in Los Angeles with Cerebral Palsy. She was born on December 10, 1992, She was UCI Irvine's First Preemie to survive at 23 weeks. With Acting Running in her family, she loved being in front of her family's home video camera, creating stories at age four. At just twelve, her heart was set on the stage after seeing a production of The Miracle Worker. The theater was the seed that grew Pelayo's love for performing. She began her journey working with (Grounded for Life) Lynsey Bartilson in the Performing Arts Group Kids on Stage for a Better World.
By age eighteen, she took acting classes with Michael Fairman (The Young & the Restless) and Robert Bailey Jr (NBC's The Night Shift). She studied Artist Development with Shelby Spalione (a Disney Recording Artist who toured with Demi Lovato and WILL. I. AM, Black Eyed Peas.)
Pelayo earned titular roles in approximately ten theatrical productions and school plays throughout junior high and high school.
In 2015, she enrolled in a performing arts school, My Acting Studio, with Award Winning Acting Teacher Charles Tentindo (Days of Our Lives.)
After just 2 years of studying at My Acting Studio, Pelayo booked her first Co-Star Role as Miranda in Alan Tudyk's Comedy Web Series, Con Man.
Shortly After Con Man, Miracle booked her second Co-Star role as Stacy on Nickelodeon's Bella & The Bulldogs. Pelayo appeared in two episodes, becoming the first actor in a wheelchair in Nickelodeon history in 2016.
Pelayo continued to study audition technique and scene study with Kelly Heyer ( Drake and Josh, Criminal Minds, SWAT, The Middle, Zeke and Luther, Raising Hope, and Lifetime's Original Movie, The Pregnancy Pact). Some of her biggest callbacks while studying with Heyer included Disney Channel, Disney Jr, Netflix, and ABC.
As a model, Pelayo is proud of her collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger Adaptive, modeling the clothing line designed for people with disabilities.
One of Miracle's Strongest Qualities is understanding the characters she plays on a personal level, creating a story with them when performing.
"Another project I'm proud of is the Jessie Chris Rome Music Video. It was for the Jessie Anti-Bullying School Tour." Miracle is currently studying with Danielle Vermengo
Miracle made history with her first Voice Over Job, American Girl Doll, becoming the Voice of Lily, The First American Girl Doll with Cerebral Palsy in American Girl: The Travel Twins on YouTube Kids.
